Watercolor Quilts


Most of these wall hangings are original....no pattern is available or possible.  I share them to inspire you to try your hand at creating a watercolor quilt.

Twilight---a wall hanging  made for a friend

The Window Box ---inspired by a photo in a magazine. 
 This is the first watercolor quilt I did using the gridded interfacing.

Iris for Spring-- a seasonal wall banner


The Garden Shed--inspired by the view from my sewing room

Changing Seasons--this began as a seasonal banner. 
 Then I added a tree and it took on a life of its own.

Wonder of Color
Thanks to Wanda at Exuberant Color for the starting pack of squares for this color wash wall hanging.  I added lots of squares from my own stash for this one.  


Awakening Series
Inspired by words from a song, I created 3 variations for Awakening.  Each border is different and changes the feeling of each wall hanging.

A mini table topper  quilt in watercolor style made for Project Quilting 2013 Challenge.
